DART Silver Line Regional Rail Design-Build Project

The 26-mile long, regional rail Silver Line on the Cotton Belt Corridor extends from the DFW International Airport through the northern portion of the DART service area to Shiloh Road in Plano. The current alignment passes through the cities of Grapevine, Coppell, Dallas, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson, and Plano and  10 stations. The Silver Line project’s primary purpose is to provide regional passenger rail connections and service that will improve mobility, accessibility and system linkages to major employment, population and activity centers in the northern part of the DART service area. The Silver Line project will interface with three DART light rail transit LRT lines: the Red/Orage Lines in Richardson/Plano, the Green Line in Carrollton and the Orange Line at DFW Airport. Also at DFW Airport the project willconnect to the Fort Worth Transit Authority's TEX Rail Regional Rail Line to Fort Worth and provideaccess to the DFW Airport Skylink People Mover.
